Panzer Tactics DS, the lovable World War II strategy game that Europe loves to death, is close to release and with that comes the official trailer, unveiled recently that the Games Conference in Leipzig. Developed in Vienna, Austria by Sproing Interactive, Panzer Tactics DS is the first turn-based WWII strategy title for the portable console. Set in 1939, players can assume command of the German Wehrmacht, the Western Allies or the Russian Red Army. Players can also challenge friends via local or Wi-Fi matches over the Nintento Wi-Fi network.

A bit late, but still worth it. Call of Duty still goes on, with the trailer for Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare burning up the internets a few weeks ago. In it, we saw lots of explosions, some tanks tearing things apart and heard a little Russian language speech talking about one less nation. World War 3 FTW!

According to the GTA IV game details page on XBox.com, the new GTA IV trailer will appear today via the XBox Live Marketplace in high-definition! With the clock now ticking past 6 1/2 hours left to go, here’s to sitting back and watching Xbox Live crash and burn tonight.

Having trudged through as much Gears of War I can stand for the moment and going through Lost Planet in a few evenings, I’ve been looking forward to what my next purchase for the 360 is going to be. A stealthy action-horror title, Rain (Vampire’s Rain in Japan), looks like it’s going to be it! With a heap of Japanese science-fiction, enough dark corners to move a city into, raging vampires and stealth-action gear second to Splinter Cell’s, Rain takes you to a suburban Los Angeles, overrun with vampires who are than willing to turn you into their next meal. You as the player are the vampire hunter, using technology to determine who among the city are actually dormant vampires, all taking place in a gothic-inspired rendition of LA, which features a much-touted weather and water effects system to enhance the immersion and give you the feeling you’re stuck in a water-soaked vampire hell.

Crytek recently released a new DirectX 10 trailer for their upcoming FPS, Crysis, showing the world how things is done. What these folks are doing with their technology is beyond belief, but then again, with massive backers pumping lots and lots of money into them I’m not surprised what can be done.

EVE Online recently launched their much anticipated first-step into the Revelations story line, bringing all of the EVE factions one step closer to war and lots of nifty new ships and features. As is typical with most MMORPG expansions, there are quite a few bugs roaming around, but, CCP is hard at work clearing them up.
