Sunage

Sunage, a PC RTS under development for the past 10 years in Vienna, Austria, has released a new set of screenshots as well as announced another delay in development until May 2007. The title, being developed by indie startup Vertex4 to be published by Lighthouse Interactive, has seen massive delays, which as many know could either mean good or bad. The story for Sunage takes place in a distant future Earth which is dying as mankind retreats into sealed cities, leading to chaos as factions begin to battle one another over a gateway to a paradise planet. All of the classic RTS gameplay features are present, including single player and multiplayer modes as well as squad commands and alternate modes for the different units of all factions.

New Alan Wake screenshots are absolutely breathtaking

Alan Wake

Alan Wake, the follow-up from Remedy after their hit releases of Max Payne, is beginning to look like the tech demo / postergame for Microsoft’s next-generation gaming platforms. With more information starting to surface about the game (well, minus any real gameplay information), the screenshots being released are starting to look more and more amazing with every new shot released. This time, we have a few new environment shots, though, no official word on whether they are for the Xbox 360 (we’d be REALLY amazed if they were for the 360) or Vista PC. Showing some of the greatest environmental lighting I’ve ever seen, I’m getting more excited about this title every time I see it. Let’s just hope Remedy does a little bit more with their character animation this time around, cause, come no, no next-gen title can be feature a main character as stiff as Max Payne.

Sega Virtua Tennis 3

Sega’s Virtua Tennis is a legend in the world of tennis sports titles, first appearing in arcades in 1999, being ported to the Dreamcast, PC, and PS2 over the years. Sega’s latest in the series, Virtua Tennis 3, is currently under development for the PS3 and Xbox 360, as well as for arcades, which is using Sega’s powerful Lindbergh platform. Recently, legendary French gaming site, Jeux France, revealed a handful of high resolution screenshots of Virtua Tennis 3, which show a brilliant looking game, with extremely realistic character models, highly detailed texturing (that hair!!) and some nice looking sweat!

Afrika PS3 video, what exactly is this?

Afrika for the PS3

I have absolutely no clue what Afrika for the PS3 is about, but it looks amazing as one would expect for a next-gen title. The only problem is I’ve not found much information on what exactly the game will be like, if a game at all. At first look, I’d take an uneducated guess and state that it looks to be similar to Wildlife Tycoon: Venture Africa for the PC/Mac, which is an interesting concept for a next-gen console. Anyone able to shed more light on this?

Watch the trailer after the jump and be impressed..
