We missed this, partially due to the Wii craziness of last week AND because we have the tendancy to avoid Rockstar whenever we can, but, it seems that Bully will be granted the holy grail of ratings, TEEN! I bet Jack Thompson was one step closer to that heart attack after reading that at his breakfast table. Well, good news for Rockstar, especially since this allows teens to purchase the title without parental supervision, a rare thing for a Rockstar title.

Legendary sim-strategy game Sim City will be making it’s way to everyone’s favorite handheld console Winter 2006/2007 according to EA, though exact details haven’t been officially released. This possibly means that the release could occur before Christmas 2006, meaning hundreds of thousands of DS owners will soon be playing god with the little inhabitants of Sim City. Rumours also have it that the DS game will be based on the PC title Sim City 3000 which will no doubt be a must-own DS title when it’s released.

As reported by our sister site several weeks ago, DEFCON, the latest game from indie-heartthrobs Introversion Software has been confirmed for a September 2006 release. After going through some delays we were naturally a bit skeptical, but, we kept believing in Introversion. So we were glad to hear today that Valve has officially confirmed that DEFCON will be hitting Steam in September 2006, as planned, probably for the low low price point of $19.95, which is what Introversion’s previous title Darwinia hit Steam for. DEFCON is an online, competitive multiplayer strategy game about thermonuclear war (think War Games with Matthew Broderick) and is a hell of a lot of fun.
