Massive (and I do mean massive) multiplayer space RPG Eve Online is especially unique among the other MMORPGs. Eve’s server structure is setup in a way that all players, regardless of geographic location, are simulataneously playing within the same game world, as opposed to other MMORPGs, which create many small instanced worlds with around 5000 users at one time max. Utilizing extremely intelligent load balancing and a huge distributed computing environment, Eve allows all players to occupy the same game space, at the same time. Recently, Eve parent company, CCP announced that on September 4th, at 1936 GMT, 30,538 simultaneous registered users occupied Tranquility (the live Eve Online server), once again keeping Eve in control of the world record for most simultaneous users in an online gaming world at one time. Congrats Eve and CCP!

A dream come true
EVE Online realizes its goal of 30k simultaneous usersThere was much to celebrate at the CCP office in Reykjavik today. In addition to the birthdays of CEO Hellmar’s daughter who turned three and producer Oveur, who turned “thirty something,” shouts of joy rose up at 19:36 GMT as 30,538 EVE Online capsuleers zoomed their way into history by setting a new concurrent user record of over thirty-thousand simultaneous users on the Tranquility server.
” It is with great honor that I see the 30k mark being broken,” said EVE player RipLee. “CCP has done an awesome achievement in such a feat. Kudos to CCP.”

Howdy I only wanted to let you know, I actually love the written content on your web site. But I’m utilising Chromium on a device running version 9.04 of Ubuntu and the look and feel aren’t rather satisfying. Not a strong deal, I can still essentially browse the posts and look for data, but just wanted to inform you regarding that. The navigation bar is kind of difficult to use with the config I am operating. Keep up the superb work!
