The time has come as Introversion’s newest title, DEFCON is going live at this very moment. Introversion’s online store has been hammered all day, even Steam is a touch slow at the moment. I predict great things for DEFCON and Introversion, with DEFCON possibly even being more successful than Darwinia, dare I say it. It’s too late now to get the pre-order bonuses, sorry folks, if you had pre-ordered through Introversion, you would have gotten a digital download and a boxed copy mailed to you, if you ordered through Steam, you would have gotten $5 off, making this amazing game only $9.95. On with the desctruction!

The Introversion sites are getting hammered, and they disabled their store, so it really hasn’t been released yet.
“Due to unprecedented demand on our store web server. Unfortunately this has overloaded the system, so we have temporarily disabled the store.
DEFCON Keys will be emailed to you at 18:00 GMT which is 19:00 BST in London, UK.
We will be re-enabling the store shortly. “

Driving me crazy at the moment. I bought through Steam, haven’t received my serial number yet, login gives me the demo message and tells me there’s a new version to download. Sigh….

Wow, ok, Steam worked out it’s problems and I LOVE this game.
